Masina Bistro is a multifunctional community space on the ground floor of the FERRUM Office Building, which offers the tenants of the building and the surrounding offices the opportunity to eat - drink, relax, meet, or even work away from the desk. more pleasant environment. The cafe’s industrial atmosphere and raw design reflect the industrial past of its surroundings and the use of materials in the Ferrum office building. The front of the service counter is made of riveted steel sheet, the lighting above the counter is suspended on a steel chain, the legs of the uniquely designed tables are made of welded steel profiles, and the table top is made of solid oak.

The coldness of the metal surfaces is compensated by the leather upholstery and the warm-toned industrial parquet floor. Concrete lamps above the dining tables are provided by Paper Up! Rusty looking plates are also a lighting fixtures, which were developed by MLS. They were created from a creative combination of a product lamp, rusted steel corrugated sheet and plants. The delicacy of the space is completed by Anna Oláh’s figural wall graphics created on site and Toma Bóna’s pictograms and glass foils. The work is the result of close and creative collaboration with the owner of FITOUT zrt. András Pálffy and designer Tímea Szarka.
