MádiLáncos has expanded into a group: introducing our two new business divisions

MádiLáncos is expanding with two new business divisions and transforming the company into a group: from autumn, the studio will continue to operate as an independent company in the fields of project management and workplace strategy, as well as in the fields of green building and building certification. The two new divisions are led by architects Áron Láncos and János Szlovák, while the design division is coordinated by founder Krisztina Sárosdi-Mádi.

“Our transformation into a group of companies is not a sudden business decision, the past twenty years of experience and development has led to the fact that there are now three strong, mutually reinforcing parts of MádiLáncos Studio”, says Krisztina Sárosdi-Mádi. Adapting to the needs of our clients, we can now cover the entire design process: from the first idea, through all phases of design and the entire cycle of project management up to the organization of building certification, we lead our projects with precision, efficiency and creativity.”

MádiLáncos interior design studio, with more than two decades of experience and over 500 successful projects, has always aimed to introduce design trends and professional work organization to the Hungarian market. In the past years, the studio has been chosen by clients such as OTP Bank, Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Robert Bosch, Thyssenkrupp, SAP, Oracle and AirFrance-KLM to design and implement their new offices.

In 2021, the studio, with its 30 employees, moved to a new office in the city center: as they say, the Budapest panorama is an endless source of inspiration for fresh, creative ideas. The loft office near Batthyány Square, designed with a sustainable approach to every detail, was also a pilot project for the team: they implemented a number of green, efficient and forward-looking solutions in both office design and work organization.

“The current change also means that we can now apply our more than 20 years of experience across a broader range of areas, with a dedicated team of business leaders in three of our major fields. The new direction of the company has also brought new dynamics and drive to the team, and the synergy of the three divisions is a source of many new ideas,” says Áron Láncos, who will lead the project management and workplace strategy division from the autumn.

MádiLáncos Studio’s most recent projects include the design of the new OTP headquarters’ community spaces, the new Budapest office of international law firm Allen&Overy, and the office development of Robert Bosch, also significant on a European scale and which included the most complex, research-based office space organization ever in Budapest.

“Changes in recent years, the pandemic and now the increased demand for efficient operations have literally shaken up the office market. In our 20-year history, we have never been approached by so many conscious, open and forward-thinking business leaders. There is indeed a huge demand for offices that are sustainable, green and internationally certified,” says János Szlovák, Director of the Sustainability and Building Certification Division. It has never been so true: new offices are a level-up for companies, and great office space brings people together, motivates them and creates a vision for the future. And I believe we already have the right solution.”
