The office is made up of interconnected spaces with different functions. The different zones are adapted to both organizational and employee needs. Despite its compact size, the BLUE office packs in many functions – it simultaneously functions as a working office, office furniture and floor covering showroom, and as a space suitable for holding trainings and workshops. The workplace is an important part of the company’s strategy to provide all employees with the opportunity to choose: where and how they can do their work most efficiently. The well-thought-out and well-zoned space supports concentrated work, teamwork, joint thinking, socialization, learning, rest and regeneration, the possibility of quick sharing of analog and digital information, and even virtual collaboration. All this so that every square metre is measurably used! The varied furnishing of the office space also supports and serves all of this.
One of the principles of the design was flexibility – every closed room (meeting room, telephone booth) is an acoustic product that floats in space and can be assembled and moved. In this way, in today’s very fast-changing world, the subsequent reorganization of the space can be organized in a time and cost-effective manner without demolition. Another guiding thread was coziness, which was emphasized by the use of cheerful and bright colors, patterned textiles, diverse lounge and collaboration furniture, graphics and plants.
